Déplaçons Willowdale
Nos cœurs sont pleins alors que nous repensons à notre événement Let's Move Willowdale le samedi 30 avril à Hendon Park !
Des centaines de voisins se sont réunis par une belle journée ensoleillée pour marcher, courir et rouler depuis Hendon Park à travers le couloir hydroélectrique de Finch et retour. Ensuite, nous avons célébré avec un barbecue et des animations en direct !
Non seulement avons-nous passé un moment incroyable avec nos voisins, mais nous avons également réussi à franchir la moitié de notre objectif de collecte de fonds printemps/été de 50 000 !
At the Nowruz Event in March, neighbours gathered at North York Centre to celebrate the Iranian New Year. The community enjoyed Persian Tea, calligraphy workshops, yoga classes, live music and dancing. After such a difficult year, seeing the Iranian community come together and share their traditions with the entire community was really powerful.
Honouring traditions and experiencing new cultures was a beautiful experience for all who participated in these two events!
